We had just purchased our new cowboy hats from Shepler's as well as our belt buckles. Jade's is a Texas buckle and mine is a Confederate flag (with the story of the Confederacy etched on the back). We carried our hats with us for the entire trip since they were "crushable." As a note: CRUSHABLE HATS DO NOT UNCRUSH VERY WELL.
As far as the CIGARETTES...mine is for dramatic effect only. Jade, however, did smoke but managed to quit after San Diego. She has been smoke free ever since (except for a few drunk nights at bars :).
